NEXTILE: SOY HAND TOWELS

I designed, wove, and hand painted these towels for the 2024 Nextile: Soy in Textile Design Challenge-Scholarship Event hosted by US Soy. My research and final product placed second in the school wide placement for the 2024 Design Challenge.

Students undertook the challenge to create an original fabric from soy-based materials and an original design for its use. Each team received a kit with a variety of soy-based materials that were incorporated into their fabrics.
